Fees and Insurance

Fees

Tooth number, number of canals involved and the complexity of the situation determine fees for root canal therapy. Our fees cover diagnosis, all necessary x-rays, anesthetics, treatment, and adherence to the recent CDC and OSHA guidelines regarding safety and asepsis.

There may be additional fees for surgical treatment, instrument or post removal, retreatment, or other procedures, should they become necessary.

Payment in full is expected at the time services are rendered. Payment may be made by cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or Care Credit.

Insurance

As a courtesy to you, insurance forms will be completed and filed for you without charge. We are happy to help you receive the maximum benefits; however, the agreement of the insurance to pay for your dental care is a contract between you and your insurance company. Insurance companies may reimburse at a lower rate than we estimate. When this occurs, you may be required to pay an additional “after-insurance” balance.

Louisiana law provides that your insurance company shall pay within 30 days following receipt of the claim. If your reimbursement is not received in a timely manner, please contact your plan administrator or the insurance company directly.
